Devon Kershaw and Alex Harvey were successful in winning the first ever world championship medal in Canadian history this week in Oslo Norway. They took home the title of Sprint Relay World Champions! Congratulations guys!
Today was the men’s 4x10km sprint relay. The guys outperformed again and had another best ever Canadian result of 7th. The men this year are very strong and hungry for good results
Our women raced today and Sara Renner was the best canadian with an awesome top 10 finish. Great racing by the women! My day consisted of "tune-ups" and watching the race with the men's team at our kitchen/dining room site.
Today was a training day for the athletes, with the women's pursuit starting tomorrow. The girls are calm and are really ready to go fast. We are hoping for good things tomorrow. Men's pursuit race goes on Saturday.
